You already have a product/service, know how to promote it effectively, get consistent orders, and have built your small team. Congratulations on starting your business! Days go by, you must've expect your business to grow and get bigger. It turns out it's time to set up a company.

Here are 6 steps that you'll do when you're about to set up a company (in Indonesia):

1. Get a company name ("PT"), "SIUP" and "TDP".

2. Setting up your place, whether it's rent or owned.

3. Make an ideal organization structure.

4. Make a clear job specification, job description, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) for each positions available in the company.

5. Make a clear Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) or workflow for each position / division.

5. Make "Peraturan Perusahaan (PP)" based on "UU Ketenagakerjaan" and get it approved by government through "Dinas Tenaga Kerja (Disnaker)". It is needed to be the foundation of all the following company rules that you'll make.

6. Make a "Reward and Punishment Guide" for every employee's KPI result. You can also set it when the Reward and Punishment will be periodically given to employees. This is important to reward performing employees and to motivate under-performing employees.
